The Mentors

Chandrahas Chaudhury

Chandrahas has produced five books published by Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins, including the novel Arzee the Dwarf, which was shortlisted for the Commonwealth First Book Award. His writing has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Conde Nast Traveller, Granta, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Bloomberg Opinion. His fiction and essays have been translated into Hindi, German, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Tamil, and Odia.

Deepanjana Pal

Deepanjana Pal has been a journalist for two decades and a collector of stories for as long as she can remember. She’s the author of Lightning In A Shot Glass and has also written the Puchku series of children’s books, the feminist thriller Hush A Bye Baby, and a critically-acclaimed biography of Raja Ravi Varma, titled The Painter. She’s also written too many film reviews to count. At present, she’s a columnist with Hindustan Times and runs a books newsletter titled Dear Reader.
