Creative Practice 101:
The Business of Working Independently

A 3-day workshop with Shreevar Chhotaria

Introduction

You’re good at what you do. But how do you become a creative that brands like The Ken, Amazon India, Blume, and Ugaoo actively want to work with?

After going independent, Shreevar Chhotaria built a multimedia creative practice that spans podcasting, social-first IPs, brand collaborations, and editorial strategy. From hosting and producing a podcast at The Ken to working with Amazon India, Google News Initiative, Blume, Ugaoo and leading projects across formats, he has shaped a career that blends creative ambition with business clarity.

In this three-day workshop, he unpacks how he built that path, and shows how you can create your own!

You’ll explore how to position yourself clearly, pitch with confidence, and build visibility so the right opportunities come to you. You’ll learn how to attract the brands and projects you dream of, make yourself seen by the people you want to work with, and deliver work that leaves a lasting impression. And you’ll understand the systems and foundations that support sustainable growth.

The aim is to help you build an independent creative career that draws the right collaborators and projects, while opening doors to long-term opportunities.
